It is best to begin your thesis/dissertation writing with the appropriate complete template, available below for download. These documents are Windows and MAC compatible. These templates will help you to format your ETD to meet the Graduate School format specifications.

Each program has selected one or more preferred style manuals, and all students within the program are to follow the appropriate writing style. Where there is incongruity between Graduate School format guidelines and program writing style, the program style should be followed.

Downloadable Complete Templates

Note: When you download one of the above templates, your computer might open the file in Microsoft Word's Protected View. This is a security feature that opens files in a read-only mode to protect your computer from viruses. If it opens in Protected View, the template formatting will show incorrectly!
