Newly Admitted Outstanding Graduate Student Campus Visit Assistance Award

Schools and interdisciplinary programs are invited to request funding from the Graduate School to assist with outstanding prospective graduate student expenses associated with campus visits. Contact gradschl@siu.edu for information.

Announcing Student Final Defenses, Artistic Exhibitions, and Music Recitals

Submit details about your student’s Defense of Dissertation, Capstone Report, Thesis, Graduate Exhibition, or Recital.

Post-Baccalaureate (Graduate) Certificates

1. Submit the Certificate Admission Form during the first semester that the student is taking certificate courses.
2. Submit the Certificate Completion Form within one month after the semester that the student finishes the final certificate course.
3. Consult the Graduate School Staff Manual (pp. 75-76) for guidance on certificate policies and procedures.

GA Time Logs

Graduate Assistants are required to complete a Graduate Assistant Time Log and submit it to their unit administrator. Unit personnel should forward the time logs (signed by both student and unit administrator) to the Graduate School via the email GA-log-submit@siu.edu. Time logs are due by the fifth day of each month (for the previous month’s work).
