The School of Applied Engineering and Technology offers programs that encompass engineering, manufacturing, management, and technology to provide flexible degree programs for both traditional and non-traditional students. If you come to us as a freshman or if you transfer from a community college with an associate degree, we’ll give you a well-rounded curriculum that includes technology deisgn, Six Sigma, industrial safety, and other skills for todays industrial and technology managers.

Electrical Engineering Technology
Some degrees are a fast track to employment. This is one of them. Our hands-on, practical skills program will help you land or advance a career in the high-demand technical fields of computer systems, microelectronics, communications systems and electric power distribution.
Technical Resource Management
Join the next generation of technical and operational leaders. This is a practical degree for students who want to use and enhance the leadership skills they’ve developed while working. It’s a “do it” degree that gives you credit for what you’ve already learned – often, the kind of learning that comes with experience.
Industrial Management and Applied Engineering
Careers in industrial manufacturing require specialized knowledge. Industrial management professionals develop and direct production techniques and oversee distribution of products and services. You’ll take these skills and focus them toward the industry that matches your career goals under the guidance of our expert and world-experienced faculty.

A Degree with Options
It wouldn’t be a helpful degree for working students without flexibility!
You can take courses on-campus, at several of our off-campus and military sites or online.
All of our undergraduate programs offer a capstone option and allow you to earn credit for real-life work experiences such as military training, work experience or trade apprenticeship or journeyman training.
Earn a Master's Degree in Quality Engineering Management
This program helps to develop quality and management professionals who can plan, coordinate, design, implement, and control the quality function in manufacturing and service companies in order to increase productivity, optimize resources, decrease waste, and improve product quality. Specialize in quality assurance, six sigma, lean manufacturing, project management, and reliability.
Earn both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in just 5 years!
Qualified Industrial Management and Applied Engineering (IMAE) students can pursue an accelerated M.S. degree in Quality Engineering and Management by taking graduate classes during their senior year, allowing students to save money and to enter the job market sooner.
