After applicants to these programs have been admitted to the University, you will receive information and instructions from your academic department. Students who want to pursue a teacher education program should refer to the current SIU Undergraduate Catalog for application procedures and certification information.

The following majors permit new students to enter in the Fall semester only:

• Architectural Studies - Major course rotations begin each Fall; students admitted in Spring or Summer take non-major courses (core curriculum prerequisites or electives) until the Fall.
• Dental Hygiene - Fall start for on-campus only. Students can enroll in the online BS degree completion program throughout the academic year.
• Fashion Studies - Major course rotations begin each Fall; students admitted in Spring or Summer take non-major courses (core curriculum prerequisites or electives) until the Fall.
• Interior Design - Major course rotations begin each Fall; students admitted in Spring or Summer take non-major courses (core curriculum prerequisites or electives) until the Fall.
• Physical Therapist Assistant
• Radiologic Sciences - Fall start for on-campus only. Students can enroll in the online BS degree completion program throughout the academic year.
