Southern Illinois University (SIU) has a rich history of international collaboration. Our partners include universities, higher education institutions, secondary schools, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private sector companies. These connections enable us to expand education and research opportunities globally.
Our most successful and active partnerships are often driven by dedicated faculty members from each institution, who coordinate and promote collaboration among their peers and students. The International Partnerships & Development division is here to assist with developing any formal documentation, such as a Memorandum of Agreement or contract. Please explore our website or contact us for more information about these programs.
SIU also has a long tradition of hosting international students from nearly 100 countries. Many of these students come from our partner universities. The Center for International Education offers a wide range of services to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition for students studying at SIU.
