Our program prepares you for careers in many areas of criminal justice. Our graduates work in correctional facilities, probation departments, victim advocacy, juvenile justice and government service – as well as in law enforcement and education.

Degree Options

Learn more about our

Bachelor's Program (100% Online Option Available) — Prepares students for careers in law enforcement, courts, corrections, counseling, security, research, and other law-related fields.

Accelerated Master's Program — Obtain a B.A. and M.A. in criminology and criminal justice in five years. 

Dual Degree — Earn both a bachelor’s degree in CCJ (B.A.) and a law degree (J.D.) in six years instead of the more typical seven.

Master's Program — Offers opportunities to work with leading researchers at SIU as well as professionals in the field for practical experience.

Doctoral Program — Provides successful graduates specialized knowledge in their chosen field or pursuing an academic career.
